PURPOSE:To simplify an earthing mechanism for a belt photosensitive body by constituting the base substance of the belt photosensitive body in a belt magazine of a conductive belt made of conductive substance such as nickel. CONSTITUTION:A driving roller 12 having a large diameter, a follower roller 13 having a small diameter, and a guiding member 14 which is made of the earthed conductive member and has curved shape lest it should become resistance when the belt photosensitive body 15 travels are oppositely provided in the belt magazine 11. The belt photosensitive body (a belt-like organic photosensitive body) 15 is laid among the driving roller 12, the follower roller 13 and the guiding member 14. For example, the substance obtained by dispersing the conductive substance such as metallic powder or metallic fiber in resin is good as the material of the member 14. Then, the base substance of the photosensitive body 15 is constituted of the conductive belt made of nickel. Therefore, the charge of the exposed part on the surface of the photosensitive body escapes to an earth by the guiding member 14 which comes in contact with the base substance (back surface) of the photosensitive body 15. Thus, the earthing of the photosensitive body 15 is efficiently performed with simple constitution. |
