COMPACT PRIMARY SURFACE HEAT EXCHANGER A compact primary surface heat exchanger is disclosed which includes a plurality of transversely corrugated sheets arranged in a stack in superimposed crest-to-crest askewed bridging relation to define first and second serpentine fluid flow paths alternately between them, and with each of the sheets having a plurality of repetitive transverse convolutions which are so constructed as to provide a plurality of substantially vertically extending and substantially parallel walls with an integrally joining plurality of crest members to provide an effective heat exchanger with a decreased number of sheets.
