<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the variation of tension on the magnetic tape, by decreasing the length of magnetic tape between the capstans and the vacuum column to the utmost to reduce the moment of inertia of the magnetic tape and reducing the number of direction changes of magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:In the vacuum column type magnetic tape unit, the reel mounting set mounting the winding reel 22 is provided about under the supply reel 21 placed at the upper side, the supply side vacuum column 25 and the windibg side vacuum column 24 are placed at the right side of the supply reel 21 and the winding reel 22 so the end of opening is lowered down, and the capstan 23 and the magnetic head 26 are placed between the opening ends of the both columns 25 and 24. With this constitution, the head contact stable for the magnetic tape can be obtained.</p> |
