The two-way changeover valve is particularly for sanitary fittings, having a sliding plug returning to a particular position on cessation of flow. The flow acts against the plug (6) in the radial direction, and in the position referred to passes through one or more spray nozzles (11) after the plug. The nozzle depression chamber (12) is connected via a first plug end face (15) to a second chamber (14), in turn connected to atmosphere via a throttle hole (16). In the other plug position, the flow passes over a second plug end face (17), the back-pressure generated holding the plug in the latter position.
