Thermosetting compsn. giving prods. with good hardness flexural strength and abrasion resistance comprises PMMA powder, MMA and, as an improvement, a reinforcing filler. Used for the prepn. of dental prosthese. Compsn. has improved properties and reduced shrinkage and is a good substitute for porcelain.
