The automatic manipulating production machine has a tool coupling which allows the tools to be readily changed. The arrangement has at least two tool changers (14, 15), each with a tool holding support with a centring element. This acts in conjunction with a tool support provided with a mounting surface and elements for relative centring. The components can be mutually coupled and released so that the automatic machine can change tools automatically. The tools are taken from a corresponding store.
