<p>The equipment for ground-handling aircraft comprises two parallel spars (1) with adaptors (2) at one end for connecting to nose wheel axles and a connecting handlebar (4) at the other end. Two transverse rollers (6) with the upper, or both, housing an electric motor and transmission are disposed symmetrically above and below a frame (5) which can be slid along the spar to press the rollers against the wheel. Operation is by a locking bell-crank lever arrangement (8, 9, 11) which may have a movable pivot (12). A control box (15) is near the handlebar being fed from mains or batteries.</p> |
