PURPOSE:To provide a flash apparatus which eliminates troubles due to light interference between lamps by arranging the color fluorescent lamps in such a manner that the color light wave is made the shortest in the lamp adjacent to the one unlit which is located adjacent to the one lit. CONSTITUTION:On-signal is applied on gates GT1 to GT3 to actuate glow starters Gg and Gb. Consequently, given a start-kick voltage, fluorescent lamps Lg, Lr and Lb are lighted once preheated through secondary wingings X1 to X6. Then, according to control signals applied to the gates GT1 to GT3, flashing is repeated, while with the gate GT1 invariably given on-signal, the lamp Lg is continuously lighted. In addition, when switching means T1 to T3 are off, small amount of current is fed to the Lg, Lr and Lb through current regulating resistances R1 to R3 so as to maintain a fine discharge. With such an arrangement, the color light wave can be made the shortest in the lamp Lb adjacent to the one Lr unlit which is located adjacent to the one Lg lit, thereby reducing the light interference to the lamp Lb by the lamp Lg. |
