The spray grating consists of elements (2) detachably connected to girders (1, 1'). In this arrangement, the girders are provided with cylindrical holes (3) into which elements in the form of transverse beams can be inserted at right angles. The elements (2) are arranged in two or in three planes situated parallel one above another, the longitudinal axes of the elements (2) being mutually offset in a projection at right angles to these planes. The use of synthetic resin for the girders and for the elements guarantees self-cleaning of the spray grating and thus its constant high efficiency. The construction of the spray grating from individual elements enables it to be produced on site in accordance with the installation conditions. <IMAGE>
