<p>Two sets of steel supports and label reels are assembled on a carriage which is movable at ring angles to the longitudinal axis of a hot forming machine for containers of thermoplastic material. The carriage is arranged below the path of a thermoplastic strip, and each set is assembled so that one set is in the working position whilst the other set is accessible at the side of the machine. The hot forming plant includes a heater for the thermoplastic strip, a forming unit consisting of a sries of moulds located below the strip and at right angles to it, and opt. punches and disc stamps above a strip. The labelling unit has as many bands of tickets as there are moulds, and there are means of cutting or stamping out the labels from the bands and putting them into the moulds provided in front of the moulds and beneath the thermoplastic strip. A pair of feed rollers is provided for each mould upstream to the cutter or stamping mechanism for the labels and each pair of feed rollers is duplicated for the labels and each pair of feed rollers is duplicated for each mould. To make the reels for the labels and the guides taking the bands of labels into the moulds, beneath the strip of thermoplastic material, more easily accessible so that bands can be exchanged quickly and without trouble while the machine is running.</p> |
