The attachment has a cylindrical body (1) with a flange (2) turned out at the top by means of which it is fixed in the inlet pipe. The cylinder (1) has a base (3) which has a perforations through which the gas flows to the engine. The base has a thickened central portion (7) which supports a central pin (13) running up the axis of the cylinder. Radial arms (11) with a helical twist in them run out from the central pin to the side of the cylinder. The helices produce turbulence which homogenises the mixture and the perforations in the base regulate the pressure.
