<p>The motor car wheel trim with a rim and spoike cover are made as a combined unit together with a wheel cover. The trim is fitted to the wheel by a band coated with adhesive on both sides and consisting of a flexible material. The band is attached on one side to the trim unit and to the outer surface of the wheel with the other side, holding the trim and the wheel firmly together. The rim of the wheel may be freely radially deformed in relation to the trim without transmitting any forces on to the trim unit. The band is fitted on the trim unit at about the middle between it's circumference and centre point, and is made from plastic material.</p> |
