PURPOSE:To make the construction of the device simple and strong to impact and make its production cost lower by measuring the displacement of a bearing frame in the tension measuring device spacially from the right-angle direction. CONSTITUTION:When tension is applied at an arbitary winding angle to a deflect roller 1, this tension is transmitted to a bearing frame 5 through a bearing member 9. This bearing frame 5 is converted to the displacement in the X-Y directions by a flexible member 6. Of these displacements, those in the X direction are measured by sensors 10 and those in the Y direction by sensors 11. Next, the outputs from the sensors 10, 11 on the left side of the roller 1 and the outputs from the sensors 10, 11 on the right side are inputted respevtively to operators 20, 21. The outputs of these operators 20, 21 are operated of their sum and difference in an operator 22 and the sum is displayed as a tension signal in a meter 23 and the difference as the unbalance of the right and left tensions in a meter 24. In this way, the tension measuring device of simple construction and high strength to impact may be obtained. |
