<p>The machine sorts small spikes for motor vehicle tyres, according to their height using compressed air. The upright spikes (2) are mounted in a row one after the other on a conveyor belt (1), above which at an adjustable height is a compressed-air nozzle (3). The nozzle is aimed at right angles to the belt, but parallel to its surface, and the amount of divergence of the jet from a plane also parallel to this surface is strictly limited.</p> |
