PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdonw and deformation of disc by providing a protector plate between encoder disc and motor end bracket. CONSTITUTION:The protector plate 12 to protect disc is provided between the encoder disc 3 and the motor end bracket 1 and the encoder cover 7a is attached to the protector plate. The protector plate 12, as shown by the broken line in Fig. is in contact with the motor end bracket only at t1 and t1 in the portion A into which control part is housed and also in the portion B for two fitting boss portions on the one hand and also forms a space between the other portion and the motor end bracket on the other. Thus, the breakdown and deformation of the disc at the time of assembling and maintenance can be prevented because the outside circumference of the disc is protected and also the temperature rise inside the cover can be prevented bacause of the presence of a space between the protector plate and the bracket. |
