<p>The vehicle impact barrier consists of vertical steel plates and has a curved plan profile built up from continuous chords. The barrier can be used for the protection of palette-rack posts from fork-lift trucks. Vertical fold lines define the chords, and horizontal base plates may be angled or straight depending the number of post faces being protected. Bolts through base plate holes may provide ground anchorage, the barrier typically being of 8mm plate to combine resistance with stock absorption properties.</p> |
