Security lock for trailer drawbar - has headed reinforced bolt through coupling eye secured by lock through hole at bottom

The drawbar of a trailer is secured by a hardened bolt (16) threaded through the coupling eye. The free end of the bolt has a hole (27) through which a security lock (30) is fitted. The other end of the bolt has a head (26) wider than the hole. The security fitting is simple to fit and prevents valuable plant equipment from being stolen. The bolt can be retained on the drawbar when released, by a safety chain. Most conventional types of security lock can be fitted through the end of the bolt.
