<p>The space-retainer, for reinforcement mats used in concrete, has a load bearing unit and support feet, the former being in the form of a ring (1) with flat top and stiffeners, while the feet (7) are directly formed onto it. Ring dia. pref. exceeds the smallest anticipated interval between adjacent parallel bars in a mat. There can be radial stiffening spokes pref. set between the ring and a hub ring. Rings and spokes can have a U-profile shape, with the feet inside, extending outward from the profile's inner walling across the shank edges.</p> |
