Thermally stable measuring appts. comprises two carrier domain magnetometers (1, 2) in close proximity so as to be at the same temp. The magnetometers are arranged orthogonally, one with its domain path parallel to the signal flux such that this has no effect. The two magnetometers are supplied differentially with bias (3a, 4a) and a signal (5) to be measureD. The outputs of the two magnetometers (1, 2) are combined to produce a signal which is independent of temp. and representative of the signal to be measured. |
