The clamp for attaching objects, such as cameras, which are required to be in readiness for rapid use, to clothing, consists of U-shaped, springy strip of metal, with the two sides almost touching. One of the sides (14), a certain distance from the bend (10) is bent away at right angles, to form a holder bar (16) pointing away from the other U side (12). The holder bar incorporates a securing slot. The straight side (12) has a central slit and a thumb piece (30) on the side facing away from the other side (14).
