PURPOSE:To decrease the number of delivery lines, by transmitting the parity bit and strobe signal with one common transmission line. CONSTITUTION:At the transmission side, the data a set at the register 21 is delivered to the transmission line via the driver 23, further the parity bit to the transfer data caused at the parity generator 22 is inputted to the clock selection circuit, and the control signal e having the polarity of level change according to the value of parity bit is transmitted to one transmission line via the line driver 24. On the other hand, at the reception side, the transfer data a and the control signal e are received with the line receivers 26 and 27, the strobe signal is picked up via the monostable multi-vibrators 29 and 30, and the parity check is made for the reception data in the register 28 with the parity checker 31. Thus, the parity check information and the strobe signal are delivered with one common transmission line to decrease the number of transmission lines. |
