<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to efficiently use a print processor by automatically releasing the suspension of print processing, even if another user intentionally suspends the print processing and leaves it standing. <P>SOLUTION: When the user pushes down a print stop/restart key 51 in an operating section 18 (S101), the print processor is shifted to the suspension status of the print processing so as to allow an equipment information management section 11 to start timing (S102). When the print suspension/restart key is not pushed down again (S103), or namely when the suspension status of the print processing is left standing, the equipment information management section 11 refers to a setting time stored in a storage device 16 (S104), and performs determination by comparing the measured elapsed time in the suspension status of the print processing with the setting time (S105). When it is determined that the elapsed time exceeds the setting time (S105: YES), the equipment information management section 11 transmits a restarting notification to a print control section 12 to restart the suspended print processing (S106). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
