FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: metal mesh dome of tank includes horizontal support ring at the top of tank and thin sheet metal decking. Support units including cover plates and gusset plates are attached to horizontal support ring. Dome features polygonal devices, each comprised of long and short profiled elements with lower L-shaped flange and upper T-shaped flange, connected in sequence along the perimetre of device. Decking is attached to upper T-shaped flanges. Lateral sides of upper T-shaped flanges of long profiled elements of adjoining polygonal devices are welded together, while upper T-shaped flanges of short elements are welded together over metal discs laid over upper T-shaped flanges and lower L-shaped flanges of short profiled elements. Upper T-shaped flanges of long elements and upper T-shaped flanges of adjoining short elements are welded to horizontal support ring over support units comprised of support cover and gusset plates. ^ EFFECT: enhanced rigidity and leaktightness of tank. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg |
