PURPOSE:To enhance discoloration prevention effect, solubility in high boiling solvents or the like, dispersion stability, and diffusion resistance without exerting ill effects on other photographic additives and further without hindering color formation of couplers, by using a specified discoloration preventing agent. CONSTITUTION:To a solver halide color photographic material is added a compound of the formula shown (in which R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, or aralkyl, and may be substituted; R2, R3, and R5 are H, -OR7, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, or aralkyl; R4 and R6 are H, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, or aralkyl; R7 is as R1; both of R2 and R3 are not simultaneously -OR, and when R2 is -OR7, R5 is mot OR7; and when R1 and R7 are simultaneously alkyl, the total C number of these alkyl groups are 3 or more; and R2 to R6 may each be substituted when it is not H). |
