<p>New highly conc. oily solns. of rodenticides, which are stable even in the cold, contain 1.5-50 g./l. of an indanedione deriv. of formula (I) in the form of a salt-like cpd. with an amine of formula R3NR4R5 (II), opt. accompanied by further rodenticides and/or rodent attractants and/or repellents of domestic animals and/or other known convertional additives. In the formulae, R1 and R2 are each H, halo or lower alkyl; and R3, R4 and R5 are opt. substd. alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and R3 can also be H (the total carbon content of R3-5 being is not 8 when R3 is H or is not 12 when R3 is other than H), and NR4R5 may be an opt. unsatd. heterocyclic system opt. contg.one or two further hetero atoms, in which case R3 can also represent an additional bond between the N-atom and a neighbouring C-atom. The concentrates are free from toxic and inflammable organic solvents. Cereal grains impregnated with the concentrate do not need to be dried before use. The concentrates can be stored under extreme climatic conditions without pptn. of the active ingredient.</p> |
