The present invention provides a machine for the manufacture of cup-shaped packing containers from a thermoplastic material that shrinks under the influence of heat, comprising a first machine section having elements for the supply, division and forming of a web-shaped material into individual, sleeve-shaped shell blanks and a second machine section having elements for inserting into the shell blanks substantially flat base blanks and for sealing and forming of the blanks into impervious, cup-shaped packing containers.
