PURPOSE:To uniformly mix recycled exhaust gas into an air-fuel mixture and equalize the exhaust gas recycle ratios of plural combustion chambers to each other, by opening the front end of an exhaust gas feed pipe into a prescribed zone at the downstream side of a carburetor of an exhaust-gas-recycled internal combustion engine having the combustion chambers. CONSTITUTION:The carburetor 7 consisting of a primary system 15 and a secondary system 17 is coupled to the engine 1 through an intake manifold 5 connected to the plural combustion chambers. A portion of the exhaust gas of the engine is returned into an intake passage through the exhaust gas feed pipe 31, an exhaust gas recycle valve 29 and an exhaust gas return pipe 31 branched from an exhaust manifold 3. The exhaust gas feed pipe 31 projects toward the axis of the primary system 15 by a length L from the inside surface 5a of the intake manifold, namely, by the difference l between the length L and another Lo which extends from the inside surface 5a to the production P of the inside surface 15a of the primary system 15. |
