<p>PURPOSE: To protect a thin film transistor array of an electric circuit board having a thin film transistor array, to stabilize the characteristics of the array and to obtain an electric circuit board which can show stable performance for a long time. CONSTITUTION: This circuit board has a thin film transistor array equipped with semiconductor layers 3, 3'. A first coating film 6a of an inorg. insulating material is formed on the semiconductor layers 3, 3', a second coating film 6b of an org. insulating material is formed on the first coating film 6a, and then light-shielding layers 9, 9' are formed on the second coating film 6b. The thin film transistors consist of gate electrodes 1, 1', insulating layers 2, 2', semiconductor layers 3, 3', source electrodes 4, 4', drain electrode 5, 5' and liquid crystal 7.</p> |
