A complex event processing method, apparatus and system, which relate to the technical field of communications, are used for complex event processing, and achieve external provision of a synchronous response and avoidance of information overflow when a system needing the synchronous response performs complex event processing. The method comprises: receiving an input event sent by an event source (S201), the input event comprising an identifier of an object and an event type; acquiring M pattern rules corresponding to the event type in a pre-set database (S202); performing pattern rule matching on the input event and the M pattern rules respectively to acquire N output events (S203); and if N is greater than or equal to 1, sending at least one piece of event information to a real-time decision making apparatus (S204), each piece of event information comprising Q output events and indication information. |
