PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siren sound output device capable of protecting an impedance converter on an output side of an amplifier in the event of a trouble such as erroneous wiring of a loudspeaker (short circuit) irrespective of specifications of the amplifier.SOLUTION: A siren sound output device for outputting a siren sound for an emergency vehicle from a loudspeaker includes: a signal generation part for generating a siren sound signal; an amplifier for amplifying the siren sound signal and generating an amplification signal; an impedance converter connected between an output side of the amplifier and an input side of the loudspeaker; a detector connected between the output side of the amplifier and on an input side of the impedance converter for detecting a current value or a voltage value of the amplification signal; and an abnormality determination part for determining whether or not an abnormal state in which an overcurrent is flowing in the impedance converter is caused, based on the current value or the voltage value detected by the detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
