A method for prepg. hyperelastic epoxy resin by treating ordinary epoxy resin with bamboo gum was described. A mixt. contg. 25-35% epoxy resin, 5-15% bamboo gum, 25-35% wood chip and 25-35% waste glass fiber was pressed repeatedly in a mould under 80kg/cm2 and aged in a vessel at 90-100≦̸C for 1 hr to improve the hardness and elasticity of epoxy resin articles. The epoxy resin were used as heartwood of tennis racket.
