<p>DEVELOPER ASSEMBLY SUPPORT This invention pertains to means for achieving a uniform development zone between a liquid development applicator and a charged photoreceptor. A liquid development assembly includes an applicator roll movable into and out of contact with a photoreceptor. The assembly is supported by a plurality of arms that move in a plane perpendicular to the photoreceptor at its area of contact with the applicator roll. In this manner a uniform nip width is achieved between the applicator and photoreceptor across the width of contact regardless of variances in ovality, eccentricity or misalignment.</p> |
