<p>The plate face, carried by the central hub, of the roughing plate is set up as a compound material of rubber/fabric. The rubber is provided as an embedded core (4) which tapers in cross-section to the plate edge (3), in latex sealed fabric inlays (1) which are vulcanised with the core (4). The core (4) extends inwards up to beyond the bend (5) of the plate face adjacent to the hub (6).</p> |
