Laminate of flat textile formations and respiration- active films In laminates composed of a woven or knitted textile fabric and a film which is impermeable to water but permeable to water vapour, the woven or knitted textile fabric is produced from stretched or partly stretched fibres. The laminates are extensible or stretchable to a high degree and preserve the shape which they attain on stretching. They are particularly useful as starting materials for insulating layers in shoes and gloves and result in advantages in relation to known laminates with regard to production of the end products and these properties.
