<p>PURPOSE: To easily and quietly execute work by sucking air from the downstream side end part of a tube-like passage and generating an air flow in a required moving direction of an optical fiber member. CONSTITUTION: The tip part of the optical fiber member 1 is inserted into the nearer end part of the tube-like passage 3 so as to have a certain looseness in the inserting part and an air flow formed by sucking air by a vacuum pump 5 and applying action is allowed to flow into the passage 3 and a tube 4. Thereby tensile force is applied to the outer surface of the member 1, which is moved to the pump 5. When the tip of the member 1 reaches the transparent tube 4, an operator checks the arrival of the member 1 and stops the pump 5. Since the tube 4 is detachably connected to the passage 3, the tip of the member 1 can be drawn out by detaching the tube 4 from the passage and connected to a required position. Consequently the work can be easily and quietly executed.</p> |
