<p>A coaxial cable is used, and the HF signals from a transmitter are fed into the cable, and possibly amplified by repeaters inserted into it. The coaxial cable (3) has a closed outer conductor (8). A short length of a coaxial cable (9) is inserted between the transmitter (1) or amplifier output and the cable (3) inputs. Its characteristic impedance of the junction with the coaxial cable is the same as that of the coaxial cable, but its outer conductor (12) has a hole (13).</p> |
