<p>A loom for producing fancy yarns for use in the production of woven and knitted manufactured goods in which each needle for the formation of chains there is associated with at least one thread guide which shifts, during the formation of the chain, from one side to the other of the vertical plane containing said needle and in which the mechanism which moves the thread guides of the loom is so controlled that the lateral excursions of said thread guide outside the aforementioned plane are shorter than the interval which separates each needle from the contiguous needles; the loom being provided with means adapted for the positive feed of an effect yarn to the thread guide, said means comprising in each case-for each thread guide-a pair of rollers for guiding and feeding the effect yarn, at least one of said rollers being a driven roller. <IMAGE></p> |
