Jig allowing the removal of individual components such as resistors, etc. from single or multilayer PCB's without damage to the PCB or to neighbouring components. The jig consists of an open rectangular frame in which the PCB is held and which may be raised and levelled by adjustment of four mounting pillars. Central to the jig is a solder pot with a slot opening. A sprung verticle arm with clawed end piece is lowered over the required component once the soldered joints have melted. The component is then gripped by the end piece and raised.
