The flow adjuster is for a hydraulic pump, and involves two series-connected throttles arranged in the feed line, and a flow control valve, whose spring-loaded piston is connected at one end with a high pressure chamber of the pump. At its other spring-loaded end the piston is connected with the part of the feed line behind the two throttles. The overflow current to be adjusted, and which comes from part of the feed line (27) between the two throttles (26, 28), is deviated, and fed to the input side of the pump (1) via an annular groove (33) between the two end unions of the piston (32).
