PURPOSE:To efficiently use a key board to improve the playing function by detecting the preset key depression of the simultaneous operations of plural keys so that the key depression information at that time is detected and stored to control generation of accumpanying sounds. CONSTITUTION:When a plural of keys are simultaneously operated in a key board 11, an FF circuit 35 is set in response to the detecting signals from a key depression detecting circuit 16 to feed a gate circuit 33a with gate signals. If an accompanying sound designating play is accomplished simultaneously with the melody play, the accompanying sound designating play is performed in a lower sound range than the melody playing sounds so that a highest sound priority selecting circuit 37 selects only the key depression information corresponding to the melody play to instruct a switching circuit 12a. Then, the sound source signals corresponding to the melody play are produced from the circuit 33a. As a result, if a switch 34 is turned on, in the case of the simultaneous operations of plural keys, the accompanying sounds according to the key depression information for the melody sound play are effectively generated except the dey depression information by the accompanying sound designating operation. |
