The 180 deg. metallic arch support for a swimming pool awning has an oval galvanised section containing a number of strapping eyelets for the canvas. The supports (1, 6, 7, 8) are bolted onto base plates at 2m intervals, the canvas (9) being stretched over them and strapped to the supports. The lower apron of the canvas is held against wind by sand-filled bags. The canvas covers have transparent windows (11, 12, 13) fresh air inlet grills (14) on the front and back elevations and can be opened and closed with zip fasteners (15, 16).
