The universal wedge has a trapezoidal form, with combinations of sockets (1) and edge notches (2) providing a range of effective wedge heights. Square sockets (1A, 1B, 1C) with normal flat inverts provide alternative wedge heights for vertical legs, semi circular notches (2) serve similarly to support horizontal rails, and the support faces (3, 4) correspon. to max. wedge heights may have non skid properties. The latter faces may be inclined at 10 to 25 deg. to the inverts of the corresponding sockets (1A, 1C). |
