<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having improved cigarette resistance, durability, and decorative effect, by heating a blend of a resin composition of a vinyl chloride resin containing a crosslinking agent as a main ingredient and a granular or particulate material applied to a base material. CONSTITUTION:A blend of (A) a resin composition comprising (a) vinyl chloride resin and (b) a crosslinking agent, e.g. diallyl phthalate, as a main ingredient, and, if necessary, a plasticizer and an initiator, and (B) a granular or particulate inorganic material, e.g. silica, is applied to a base material by a screen printer, and heated to give the desired material. EFFECT:The inorganic granular material can be seen through the vinyl chloride resin. Blackening and softening will not occur even by burning cigarette ends.</p> |
