<p>PURPOSE:To provide an elastomer composition which is non-corrosive to metal and has excellent mechanical properties, containing epichlorohydrin, a divalent metal oxide or hydroxide, an F-containing polyhydroxy compound, and an N- or P- containing basic compound. CONSTITUTION:A composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an epichlorohydrin elastomer such as epichlorohydrin homopolymer, copolymer of epichlorohydrin and ethylene oxide, etc., (B) (pref. 1-40 parts of) a divalent metal oxide or hydroxide, (C) (pref. 0.5-10 parts of) an F-containing polyhydroxy compound such as 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-perfluoro[bisphenol-AF], etc., and (D) (pref. 0.5-10 parts of) an N- or P-containing basic compound.</p> |
