PURPOSE:To provide a highly efficient drying performance by utilizing only dehumidifying function or utilizing dehumidifying and heating functions, to enable use of only a dehumidijier, and to improve convenience. CONSTITUTION:With a power switch of a dehumidifier 1 made, a compressor 9 and a blower 14 operate so that room air is sucked in via a suction port 3 and that the moisture is condensed when the air passes through an evaporator 11 and the air is heated while passing through a condenser 12 before being discharged into the room via a discharge port 4. For drying clothes or the like, a drier 20 is connected with the dehumidifier 1. The dry air dehumidified by the dehumidifier 1 is sucked into the drier 20 via a suction port 28, heated by an electric heater 26, and discharged via a discharge port 33. Because the discharged air has been heated by the heater 26 to reduce the relative humidity, the drying of clothes is effected in shorter time. |
