Pivot coupling for windscreen wiper blade - has sprung tag with clips to grip grooves in wiper mounting bolt

The end of the windscreen wiper arm (13) is fitted with a clip on a plastics moulded grip (20) to hold the pivot axis (11) at the side of the wiper blade assembly. This allows the blade to pivot when clearing curved windscreens. The lower part of the moulding has a sprung tag (21) which grips under the axis and secures it. The tag is easy to operate so that the blade can be replaced. It has internal ribs to grip grooves in the axis to prevent it from sliding off. The moulding is secured by a simple tag and hole coupling at the end of the wiper arm.
