<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the liquid level in a top feed pipe at a height of bumping generation critical liquid column or below for preventing the generation of a bumping phenomenon by discharging a part of the vaporized gas in the upper space in the top feed pipe to a tank making the gas by-pass to a primary valve. CONSTITUTION:A level gage 9 is provided for detecting the height of the level in a top feed pipe by detecting the differential pressure between the pressure of the bottom section and upper section of the top feed pipe 5. A by-pass pipe 10 of small diameter by-passing a primary valve 4 is provided at the position of the primary valve 4 provided in the vicinity of the top section of a tank at the upper end section of the top feed pipe 5, and a level controller 11 is also provided to the by-pass pipe 10. In addition, a controller 12 is installed to control the closing and opening of the level controller 11 based on the detected signal from the level gage 9.</p> |
