PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive swing of a socket and facilitate the attaching of a reflecting plate, by providing two projections on the top of a swingable socket base of an illuminator and limiting the swing of the socket base within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a rising part 1a of the illuminator 1 is fitted in a hole 7 of the socket base 6 of the fluorescent lamp socket 2 of the illuminator 1 so that the socket base can be swung. The projecions 8, 9 are provided on the top of the socket base 6. The projections 8, 9 come into contact with the rising part 1a of the illuminator to stop the swing of the socket base 6. The socket base 6 can be swung within the range A limited to two points where the projections 8, 9 come into contact with the body of the illuminator. The socket 2 is engaged in a perforated hole 5 of the reflecting plate 4 within said range A. When the reflecting plate 4 is pushed up, the socket base 6 is swung while engaged in the perforated hole 5 of the reflecting plate 4. Thus, the reflecting plate 4 can be easily attached to the body of the illuminator. |
