The instrument, e.g. a bone forceps, has two spreadable limbs (1, 2) whose angle of opening can be adjusted. The quick-action closure for this instrument possesses an adjustment screw (8) whose threaded bore (9) can be screwed on to a threaded rod (4) which extends, starting at one limb (2), through a projection (6) on the second limb (1). The adjustment screw (8) is provided with a clearing hole (10) in addition to the threaded bore, and the diameter of this clearing hole is larger than the diameter of the threaded rod (4), and the axis (B-B) of this clearing hole is oblique relative to the axis (A-A) of the threaded bore (9). This permits, e.g., very quick fixation of a bone forceps in the locked position and subsequent changing of this locked position. <IMAGE> |
