<p>A flexible material formed into a continuous sheath of aesthetic appearance, with a cross-section ressembling the Greek letter OMEGA has its two base planes which are in line and are sepd. by a longitudinal slit, covered on the outside by an adhesive protected by a film which can be stripped off for use. The curved section of the sheath has >=1 hinge line, and no skill is required to use it as a conduit for wires, fine tubes, etc., and to dismantle it for repairs if necessary. The sheath may be a flattened moulding with two hinge lines in the zones of its bases formed by local thinning down of the material. The adhesive acts on contact and is based on polyvinylisobutyric ether and polyisobutylene.</p> |
